What is Inspiration?

Inspiration is software for Grade 9 to 12 students that allows students to visually map their ideas and create outlines and presentations. The complete integration of the Diagram and Map Views with the Outline View allows students to structure their brainstorming easily. The Presentation option is similar to PowerPoint.

*For K-5, consider Kidspiration by the same company.

How do I access Inspiration?

To use this software with your students, you will need to first check with your administrators regarding purchasing a license for your class or school. Then you will need to submit a work order to the IT help desk to have the software installed on the school computers students will be using. To download the free trial version on your personal computer so you can try it out, click here.

*There is an Inspiration pilot project in the works for our district. If your school is interested in being part of the project, please contact us in October 2012 for more information.
